NDIBS provides our customers with the capability of being able to has us look at a variety of building services whilst we are conducting assessments and audits of primary services. We have the expertise to conduct these assessments and are equipped with the correct instrumentation to conduct such assessments. This includes:
General: Digital Camera, PDA tool with developed reporting software
Fire Safety - Instrumentation = smoke generator (to activate detector), borescope (penetrations, cavities, etc), non-contact electronic tape measure and wheel distance measurer, force-meter with direct reading in Newtons (door opening/ push force), anemometer (smoke control measurements), sound level meter (smoke control measurement & audible alarms/alerts), lighting level / LUX meter (emergency lighting coverage); reference material = BCA or Ord.70 and Australian, NFPA BS or ISO Standards where relevant.
Thermographic: SmartCam and FLIRi7 high sensitivity infrared imagers, clamp on current testers AC & DC.
We look at electrical switchboards, mechanical switchboards, pumps, motors, refrigeration compressors (discharge re critical refrigerant temperature, enthalpy assessment), chillers, boilers, cooling towers & condenser systems (including check for blocked fill and deadlegs), domestic hot water (including supply distribution capability, Thermostatic Mixing Valves, etc.), Stratification & Thermal distribution heat loss (including fabric loss assessment), roof membrane integrity, Commercial Kitchen & food outlet assessment.
Access: Inclinometer, electronic tape measure ; reference material = BCA and AS1428.1, 2 & 3 + AS1657.
Environment: CO2 level (spot check), Temperature, Water (pH & conductivity)
OH&S: Procedures, Safety Audits, provision of equipment specific hazard assessment reports (using Bravo Software)

Asset Schedule development and audit with our alliance partner WebFM
Cooling Tower System Risk Assessment & Review - AS/NZS3666.1, 2 & 3 AS5079 & Vic BCB RMP protocol.
